  We were in Harrison for the weekend - 30th anniversary - and decided to come here for lunch. Pleased with everything. Food was excellent. Prices appropriate to the quality of the cuisine. Beautiful location right by the lake. Pristine washrooms. To top it all off, our server, Desirée was delightful, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. She is not just doing a job; she's a professional! We're already looking forward to returning here on our next to Harrison.

  Usually this place is phenomenal, but I'm taking it down to 4 stars from 5 because when we went there for a reservation dinner two days ago, there was two large parties with reservations as well. The service was okay, but we could tell the kitchen was just swamped because our food took way too long to come. I've worked in restaurants in the past and know what needs to be done at really busy times, I'm guessing the kitchen staff wasn't read at all for the large parties. That's also the responsibility of the management to oversee reservations to control this sort of thing. As I said, it's not common at all to have a bad experience here because the food is normally excellent, but not last time. Because of my past experiences, I will be going back, just very disappointed with my last visit

  Delicious food, terrific service! Absolutely loved it! We were planning on going for dinner, but noticed that it looked open before 4, so we popped by and they were open for lunch! It was a holiday, so not sure if they're normally open for lunch or not; but regardless, a wonderful little slice of Germany to visit while in Harrison.
